I was a bit surprised at how much this image changes as it moves from oft taken still to one minute movie. The moving water, a few birds and people in he background make it a different experience by changing it from the generic to the particular.

I thought that the two people moving towards each other from either side if the film might know each other-i was a bit disappointed when they just walked and ran on past each other! I had constructed some story in my imagination about their presence in the Lumiere-perhaps eager lovers.The color tones of the film-very elegant and formal greys and creams made me think of the set and story line of a fifties movie.
